About the event
Emotional intelligence is one of the top sought after skills in organizations and teams (in fact it's in the top 5!).
WHY? Because those with emotional intelligence bring to the table:
- A greater sense of wellbeing (higher levels of confidence, optimism, connectedness, and interest in learning0
- Greater levels of emotional functioning (managing stress, anxiety, anger, frustration, and more)
- Greater levels of social functioning (the ability to cooperate, collaborate, listen, empathize, and build relationships)
- Optimium performance (utilizing all traits, strengths, skills)
In this series you will learn the foundation of emotional intelligence - self-awareness. Because until you have exceptional proficiency and awareness of your emotions, you cannot manage them, you cannot intentionally choose to use emotional intelligence skills, and you cannot excel beyond your IQ.
Every week you will learn a new exercise to deepen your emotional self-awareness AND a practice that will elevate your emotional intelligence skills. THIS is how you raise the bar!
Part 1: Mood Awareness - So many variables impact how we feel each day. This session is about heightening our awareness to all of those variables and beginning to take action to identify which variables impact us in which way.
Part 2: Feelings Awareness - Being in tune with our senses! This is how our body physically expresses emotions and most of the time, we only notice when we are at the height of an emotional experiences. It's too late...we're already behaving poorly, in ways we later regret. This session you learn to STOP THE MADNESS!
Part 3: Learn the Language - In this session the focus is on expanding our emotional literacy and widening your vocabulary. Accuracy and specificity run deep in the emotionally intelligent.
Part 4: Energy Resevoir - Our ability to be emotionally self aware starts with how we manage our energy resevoir. The deeper and more full the reservoir, the better our emotional awareness and management!
This is a 4 part series occuring April 7, 14, 21, 28 from 2-3pm EST.
All sessions will be recorded and made available to registered participants until May 12, 2021.
